Privacy Policy

Fed Yet? is a dog feeding tracker built for households. This policy explains what data the app collects, how it is used, and your rights as a user.

1. Guest mode — no account required

You can use Fed Yet? without creating an account. In guest mode, all data (dogs, feeding schedules, logs, and medications) is stored exclusively on your device using local storage. No data is sent to any server.

2. Data collected when you sign in

If you choose to sign in with Google, we collect and store the following in order to provide cloud sync and household sharing:

• Google account information: your name, email address, and profile picture, as provided by Google OAuth.
• Dog profiles: name, emoji icon, breed, gender, age, weight, and any feeding instructions you enter.
• Feeding schedules: meal names, times, amounts, extras, and per-meal instructions.
• Feeding logs: timestamps, amounts, and notes for each feeding event, including who performed the feeding.
• Medications: medication names, amounts, instructions, descriptions, and schedules.
• Medication logs: timestamps and notes for each administered medication.
• Household data: household name, membership, and invite links.
• Notification preferences: whether meal reminders and household feeding alerts are enabled.
• Activity events: a log of schedule changes (e.g. meals added or removed) for display in the history view.

3. How your data is used

Your data is used solely to operate the app:

• To sync your data across your devices.
• To share feeding schedules and logs with members of your household.
• To send you push notifications for meal reminders and household feeding events.

We do not sell your data, share it with third parties for advertising, or use it for any purpose beyond operating Fed Yet?.

4. Data storage and security

When signed in, your data is stored in Supabase, a hosted backend platform. Data is protected by row-level security policies that ensure users can only access data belonging to their own household. All data is transmitted over HTTPS.

5. Household sharing

If you create or join a household, other members of that household can see the same dogs, schedules, feeding logs, and medication records. Household membership is controlled by you — you can leave a household at any time from the Account tab.

6. Push notifications

If you enable notifications, Fed Yet? will send you reminders for upcoming meals and alerts when a household member logs a feeding. You can disable notifications at any time from the Account tab or your device settings.

7. Account deletion

You can permanently delete your account from the Account tab. Deleting your account removes all data associated with your user account from our servers. Data stored locally on your device is also cleared. This action cannot be undone.

8. Children's privacy

Fed Yet? is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects when it was last revised. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
